Westwood Lacrosse Volunteer Requirements 
Our Westwood Lacrosse Parents Club is responsible for all of our team related expenses.  Player dues cover only a portion of these expenses.  Our club relies on parent volunteers to help coordinate fundraising events and support our team operations. Parents who fulfill all our club’s minimum volunteer requirements will have their volunteer deposit check returned to them at the end of the season.  The parents of each player are expected to sign up to volunteer for 2 events and 5 games to fulfill the clubs volunteer requirements. 

Westwood Lacrosse Team Operations Volunteer Sign Up  -

Team Operation volunteers include Field Prep Volunteers and Game Day Volunteers. We have created a schedule and volunteer log for Field Prep Volunteers and a seperate schedule and volunteer log for Game Day Volunteers. Each volunteer log allows parents to review the schedule and to sign up to volunteer to help with field prep or at games that fit your personal schedule. Parents who volunteer for 5 games will fullfill the minimum volunteer requirements for Team Operations. 

During January we will ask each Team Operation Volunteer to select their initial 5 volunteer days and input your name on the volunteer log. This will allow all volunteers an opportunity to select 5 games to meet their volunteer requirement.  After all volunteers have had an opportunity to select their 5 games,  we will send another email to solicit parents to volunteer for additional games. Based on the number of parents who initially signed up as a Field Prep or Game Day volunteer, we will need as many parents as possible to volunteer for more than 5 games.

Please follow the instructions below to volunteer for Field Prep or Game Day positions:

• - - - Select the day(s) and volunteer position(s) and type in your name. 
• - - - Please be careful NOT to type over any other volunteer name.
• - - - Select a minimum of 5 games to meet the Team Operations volunteer requirement.
• - - - After you initially sign up, please do not remove your name from the log. 
• - - - Email teamoperations@westwoodlax.org if you need to cancel a game you selected.
         Our volunteer coordinator will remove your name and find a replacement.
