Westwood Lacrosse Event Volunteer Information

The parents of each player must volunteer for a minimum of 2 fundraising or social events to fulfill the first part of their volunteer requirements. For complete details regarding Club Volunteer requirements, please select the Volunteer tab above and then select the Overview dropdown tab.

CLICK HERE to access (editing allowed) the Event Volunteer Signup sheet in a separate window. This spreadsheet at Google allows you to signup for events and projects. After you signup, you will be contacted by the Event Coordinator or a Board member with instructions. Once you signup, your name will be moved to the Event Volunteer Log to indicate we're counting on you.

We realize that things come up and sometimes, you aren't able to help with an event you signed up for. Please don't leave us short-handed--call the Event Coordinator as soon as you know you won't be able to keep a commitment. To keep up with the actual people who helped with events, we maintain a separate Event Volunteer Log which is updated after each event to reflect the names of the parents who actually attended each activity and helped with the event. If you did not participate, your name will be removed after the event. If you did participate your name will be highlighted to confirm your participation. Each parent should check this log periodically to assure you are receiving credit for each of your events. If you participated as a volunteer at an event and your name is not highlighted on the log, please contact the Event Coordinator for the event.
