Event Volunteers
Westwood Lacrosse Volunteer Requirements
Our Westwood Lacrosse Parents Club is responsible for all of our team related expenses. Although we are allowed to use RRISD facilities for practice and games, our Club must pay for all costs associated with fielding our 3 teams. Player dues cover only a portion of these expenses. Our club relies on parent volunteers to help coordinate fundraising events to supplement our income. Parent volunteers are also needed to help run our games (field prep, scorer, timer, etc) to avoid additional team expenses.
The parents of each player are expected to sign up to help with a minimum of 2 events and 5 games to fulfill the clubs volunteer requirements. Additional options are listed below.
· Parents can choose to pay a $200 Buy Out option in lieu of volunteering for any events or games
· Parents can volunteer for the 2 required events and then pay a $100 Buy out option if you are unable to volunteer to help at 5 games
· Parents can volunteer for a minimum of 5 games and pay a $100 Buy out option if you are unable to volunteer for the 2 required events.
Parents who fulfill all our club’s minimum volunteer requirements will have their volunteer deposit check returned to them at the end of the season. Event volunteer information is listed below. For detailed information about the requirement to volunteer for 5 games please CLICK HERE

Please select the link below to review our Event Volunteer Log. If you volunteered for an event and your name is not listed, please email our Volunteer Coordinator listed above. If you do not receive information prior to your event, please contact the Event Coordinator for your assigned event or visit the ANNOUNCEMENT section on the home page of our website.
The volunteer log will be updated periodically to reflect the names of all parents who actually attended each activity and helped with the event. Each parent should check this log periodically to assure you are receiving credit for each of your events. If you volunteered at an event and your name is not listed, please contact the Event Coordinator and our Volunteer Coordinator listed above.
