P.E. Credit for Lacrosse

Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) is a Physical Education substitute high school credit program available to students in grades 9-12 to earn state graduation credits for their commitment to an off-campus, athletic training or physical activity/education program.  The student may receive 1/2 credit of physical education credit per semester for a maximum total of one and a half (1.5) credits earned toward state high school graduation requirements.

The OCPE RRISD program is an approved physical education substitution to meet high school physical education requirements set by the Texas Education Agency state policy.  The OCPE program does require that the student may not be enrolled in another physical education class or athletics while participating in the Off-Campus Physical Education Program.

The student application is located below, along with the signed second page of the application, and must be submitted by August 11, 2009 (Category 2) to the Athletic Department Office at the RRISD Athletic Complex, 10211 West Parmer Lane, Austin, 78717.

Questions regarding the OCPE Program should be addressed to the OCPE Program Administrator at 464-5480.
