Driving Directions to Canyon Vista Middle School

From the north

  • Easiest
    1. Take I-35 South
    2. I-35 South to US 183 North
    3. 183 North to Spicewood Springs Road/McNeil Drive (this is about 7.5 miles)  Exit
    4. Turn left at light (Spicewood Springs Road)
    5. Canyon Vista Middle School on the right (~ 1 mile)


  • A bit shorter (but easier to miss turns)
    1. I-35 South to 620/McNeil Drive exit (in Round Rock).  Exit.
    2. Straight through intersection at 620
    3. Right on McNeil (1st light after 620)
    4. Stay on McNeil until you reach Canyon Vista.  2 potential "gotchas" -
      • McNeil seems to "dead-end" -- turn right at this intersection (you'll soon see McNeil HS on your right).
      • McNeil becomes Spicewood Springs Road when you pass under US 183 North

From the south:

  • Easiest
    1. Take I-35 North
    2. I-35 North to US 183 North (exit right to "fly over")
    3. 183 North to Spicewood Springs Road/McNeil Drive exit (this is about 7.5 miles).  Exit
    4. Turn left at light (Spicewood Springs Road)
    5. Canyon Vista Middle School on the right (~ 1 mile)


  • Alternative if I-35 is congested
    1. I-35 North to 71 West/Ben White (in south Austin)  Exit right  Left under I-35 (to 71 West)
    2. Take Route 360 exit (on right)  Follow signs for Route 1 North (Mopac)
    3. Exit right from Mopac, immediate left to 183 North
    4. Exit right at Spicewood Springs Road/McNeil Drive
    5. Left at light (Spicewood Springs Road)
    6. Canyon Vista Middle School on the right (~ 1 mile)
