The D2 District Playoff game has been rescheduled for Monday, May 11th at 6:00pm at Dragon Stadium at Round Rock High School, 300 N. Lake Creek Dr., 78681 - off of 620N (NOTE: location has been changed from House Park). Game time is 6:00pm, and players need to be on the field at 5:00pm in orange uniforms.

Practices this week: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 5:00pm-6:30pm at CMVS.

D2 will have practice on Wednesday, 4/15 at CVMS, 5:15-7:00pm.
We will NOT have practice on Friday, 4/17, so that players can go to the D1 vs. McNeil "Wild West Shootout" at the Warrior Bowl, 8:00pm.

2009 - 2010 Physicals

RRISD requires that a valid Athletic Physical be on fie each year for all athletes participating in sports.  This year, RRISD will be offering Physicals for the 2009 - 2010 school year on May 16, 2009 at McNeil High School.  Physicals for Westwood High School students will be from11:45 - 1:00 p.m.  The cost of the Physical is $ 20.00.  All proceeds will go back to the districts athletic triaining programs.  There will be an optional heart scan available at an additional fee.  Additional information will be communicated as it becomes available.

Class of 2009 Recognition

D2 Game & Practice Updates (3/9/09)

D2 will have practice this Wednesday, March 11th (CVMS, 5:15-6:45), but will not have practice on Friday, March 13th.  This is a change from the published D2 schedule.

We have a bus for the game on Thursday, March 12th at Westlake.  Players need to be at the WW Field House by 5:15 pm ~ the bus leaves at 5:30 pm.  There will not be any transportation back to Westwood, so players will need to find their own way home.  There is a link to a map to Westlake High School on the website under Forms-Maps-Registration.

D2 Game 2/28 - San Antonio

D2 game this Saturday, February 28th, at 12:00 pm at Central Catholic in San Antonio.  You will be responsible for getting your son to the game field no later than 11:00 am; it should take between 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get there.  Central Catholic is located at 1403 N. St. Mary's Street, San Antonio 78215. Questions/comments/transportation issues, let me know.

We would like to invite everyone to meet after the game for a late lunch so that the boys can chill out and spend some time together off of the field.  The Red Robin in San Marcos was suggested, but I believe it has closed.  If anyone has any other ideas, please pass them on. 

**NOTE**  An e-mail was sent out yesterday afternoon through the club's e-mail system with the above information and more.  PLEASE RESPOND to me with a "Yes" if you received it, or a "No" if you did not.  If there are other e-mail addresses we should be using, let me know what they are as well.

Tonight's D2 game against Harker Heights has been cancelled.  D2 will not practice tonight, but will practice tomorrow, Thursday, 2/19 at 5:15 pm at CVMS.

D2 Aggieland Tournament UPDATE

D2 Parents and Players,

Please click on the links included in the JV announcement regarding maps, tournament brackets, etc.  I have sent you an e-mail with more information ~ please, please call me if you did not receive it (918-9781 or 922-2978).  There have been some minor room assignment changes, which are listed in my e-mail.

Have your son pack lightly, if he's going with another parent.  Bring chairs if you're coming to the tournament.  If you are meeting us at Taco Cabana, please be there no later than 7:15 am.  The boys will be allowed to take some snacks from the Hospitality Tent, but I still recommend sending snacks with them.  If you are not coming to the tournament, make sure your son has enough money with him for breakfast tacos at Taco Cabana, dinner on Saturday night, tournament t-shirt/souvenirs, and the ride home, should his ride stop to eat.

D2 Bus Info -Feb 4th Game

• Players will be wearing their orange (away) uniforms for the game.  They should be dressed in their game day shorts and orange shooting shirts for the bus ride (have uniform jersey in their equipment bag).
• Players should wear their game day polos to school tomorrow.
• Stony Point High School is located at 1801 Bowman Road, Round Rock, TX 78664.

Parents who have completed the player participation survey for the Aggieland Tournament and requested to be billed $40 for their son's hotel room, please select the CLICK HERE button below to submit your payment.  Deadline for player room payment is Feburary 7th.  It you reserved a spot in one of our player rooms for your son and you are not paying for your son's room via Paypal, please mail your $40 payment to our club's PO Box.   Parent or family rooms must be reserved directly with the hotel.  See Tournament announcement in BLOG below dated 1-18-2009 for complete details or to access and complete the player registration for the Aggieland Tournament.  CLICK HERE to pay your son's $40 fee via credit card if you requested him to be assigned to one of our player rooms at Aggieland.  If you do not have a PAYPAL account, you can still pay via credit card.
